Jessica Secor, a sophomore at DuPont Manual High in Kentucky, took second in the girls blue division open race at the XC Town USA Meet of Champions, presented by The Garrett Companies. Secor covered the 5-kilometer layout in 18:48 at the LaVern Gibson course in Terre Haute, Ind., to place second overall in both open races combined behind only Northeastern High of Pennsylvania senior Margaret Carroll (18:20.1). Secor also helped the Louisville Rams place third in the blue race and fifth overall in the merged results with 149 points.
